The Margaret Mahler Literature Prize is presented to a researcher or practitioner whose work contributes to the understanding and development of Mahler's separation-individuation theory or the understanding of preventive interventions and the treatment of children and adults. Papers focused on intra-familial interaction and conflicts will also be considered. Winners are selected by the Foundation board and receive a $1000 prize. Notifications are made in May
Eligibility
The Literature Prize is open to all. Current Margaret Mahler Board members are not eligible.
Deadline
Submissions are due by April 1st each year.
